The organizers gotta know your terrain. 2 things to note:
1) As soon as the crowd occupies any area, retreat routes were sent out on telegram channels. (If there is no good retreat route, that means it’s a wrong area to occupy)
2) crucial to set up roadblocks in adjacent highways and junctions to create gridlocks. This prevent police from moving massive numbers to set up traps and kettle the protestors.
Who are the organizers? Everybody. Everybody can participate on reddit, if that’s the platform you choose.
You see we saw this as a protracted movement and even though many of us don’t mind getting arrested, it is of high priority to minimize arrest to maximize the longevity of the movement.

- there must be civilian oversight boards in all cities
- no more lethal weapons/force. if not, there needs to also be an act to make it illegal to use a lethal weapon/force on an unarmed person/person with their hands up.
- restitution to all families who have lost a member to police brutality
- demilitarize the police
- de prioritize low level offenses
