Reminder that riot shields capable of deflecting rubber bullets, 40 or 37mm tear gas canisters, truncheons and other bludgeons can be improvised out of any rectangular piece of sufficiently hard material. From basic pieces of plywood with rope handles attached, to cut sections of fifty-gallon drums with viewports cut out, and everything in between and beyond. All that is required are basic hand tools, any decent materials, and a little creativity.

Not sure where it came from, but I found it in my downloads and it was a great watch. This man made an automatic lock pick gun out of an electric toothbrush, a knife and a file (he actually used a dremel and small grinder tool, but made it very clear that he was only using them for the sake of speed and could be substituted easily by more basic tools)
