Quick update on the beginning of the year in TON Blockchain.

Notcoin started this year with a tap-to-earn mining phase, which created a huge amount of activity and attracted millions of people to TON.

A week ago, $GRAM @gramcoinorg (chart) adopted TON miner for jetton and made the first PoW jetton mining on the chain. The amount of attention for this jetton is also quite big enough to slow down the whole TON ecosystem and the price is now dropping to the more attractive, around $25M FDV.

Today $MRDN @meridian_wtf (chart) introduced their PoW jetton mining + NFT mint, but what's more important, they allowed Telegram users to mine $MRDN via the web app. The current FDV is around $1M and changing fast.

It seems that the Mining narrative has just flooded the chain, dramatically increasing the amount of wallets and on-chain transactions.

And Notcoin has not even started its onchain journey.

An event for real punks: To participate in Burn Fest with a total prize pool of over $10,000, you need to burn at least 2 PUNK. The more you burn, the higher your chances of winning.

💲 The most ardent burner of PUNK tokens will receive 35% of the total prize pool. The remaining 65% of the pool will be shared among 99 random participants, proportional to the number of tokens they burned.

The reward pool increases with each new PUNK burned: 50% of the amount goes to the prize pool, and the other 50% is burned, increasing the token’s value by reducing the emission.
