Cloudflare even took down downdetector in some regions 💀
This means, we also need a downdetector for the downdetector.

Not IPs exactly, cloudflare was down some paths only.
Maybe your vi network was connecting to other paths who were fine
This is the same exact reason why we were facing those ups & downs

📱 Google backtracks on its sideloading restrictions: After heavy backlash from devs and power‑users, Google is introducing a new “Advanced Flow” option.
Originally announced in August, the plan would have required all Android developers to verify their identity before their apps could be installed on certified devices.
Now experienced users will still be allowed to install unverified apps via this Advanced Flow, where they accept the risks, see clear warnings, and can bypass stricter verification.
Roll‑out: In select countries (Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand) starting in 2026, and globally by 2027.
Android win win bois!

BREAKING: Qualcomm has started killing Arduino development
Qualcomm has "quietly" made some massive changes to Arduino's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
According to Adafruit, the new policies introduce sweeping user-license provisions, broaden data collection & embed long-term account data retention, all while integrating user information into Qualcomm’s broader data to ecosystem.
Section 7.1 grants Arduino a perpetual, irrevocable license over anything you upload. Your code, projects, forum posts, and comments all fall under this & it will still remain in effect even after you delete your account.
Arduino retains rights to your content indefinitely. The license is also royalty-free and sub-licensable. Arduino can use your content however they want, distribute it, modify it, and even sublicense it to others.
Section 8.2 further states that users are not allowed to reverse engineer or attempt to understand how the platform works unless Arduino gives permission.
A big holy f*ck you Qualcomm!

⚠️ India Orders All New Phones to Preload Undeletable State-Owned Security App
The Indian Government now requires all new smartphones sold in the country to come with the government’s cyber-security app Sanchar Saathi pre-installed and users won’t be able to delete it.
The directive gives phone makers 90 days to comply; older phones will receive the app via mandatory updates.
Officials argue it’ll help fight phone theft, cloned IMEIs and rampant cyber-fraud; making it easier to track lost or stolen devices and block fake connections.
But critics warn this is a serious privacy and user-choice violation: a government app baked into every phone, with no opt-out.
