Today the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, Egypt, and Iran are officially new members of BRICS.

They join Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa as a formidable economic powerhouse, representing 29% of global GDP and 43% of global oil production.

Although tensions exist between member states such as China and India, BRICS is a growing challenge to the G7.

President Xi: “I wish to extend a warm welcome to leaders of new BRICS members.”

5 missiles were fired from Syria into the Israeli-controlled Golan region 2 hours ago. In the coming hours, Israel may retaliate against Damascus or Aleppo airports, or possibly retaliating with a destructive attack from where the missiles came from.

This video caught the moment one of the missiles from Syria landed near a car in the Golan.

BREAKING – Yemen: Houthis CONFIRMED Attack on US Navy

Army spox Brigadier General Yahya Saree: "Our Yemeni armed forces carried out the first direct attack operation against an American battleship off the Yemeni coast in the Red Sea in response to America’s targeting of our armed forces last Sunday.

Again, the Houthis attack on a US Navy tonight in the Red Sea is “Unconfirmed”. The dynamics are changing and it is possible. But it could be a nothing burger.

Earlier today, the Houthis did fire 2 cruise missiles at a US battleship near the Yemeni island of Hanish, in the south of the Red Sea, but they did not hit the battleship.

2 weeks ago, Iran-backed Houthis threatened to 'sink' the US and allied warships that keep shooting their missiles out of the sky. A top Houthi official warned, "The Red Sea will be your graveyard."

Ethiopia (or CUSH as mentioned in the Gog of Magog war in Ezekiel 38:5) is finally going to get a PORT on the ocean. Today, Ethiopia signed a memorandum of understanding with a breakaway region of Somalia, called Somaliland, to gain access to the Red Sea.

The new Ethiopian 🇪🇹 port and naval base will probably be constructed at Saylac, Somaliland, near Djibouti. This will be a major investment opportunity for restaurants, hotels, and the like. This New port is a major development for Ethiopia, as it currently utilizes the Port in Djibouti. This port will give Ethiopia positioning power on the global market.

Pakistan biometric passports with embedded electronic chips are being launched in a few weeks. The larger plan is to make the issuance of chip-enabled passports MANDATORY starting in 2027.

E-passports’ enhanced biometric security features uses 🆔 verification use by facial recognition.

Biometric passports are becoming the preferred digital ID option for authorities worldwide, and there are strong indications the technology will inevitably become the GLOBAL standard.

🇮🇷 IRAN: THE RESISTANCE FACTIONS WILL RESPOND
Khamenei advisor: AMERICA and its allies must know that resistance factions WILL RESPOND to this assassination.

Hezbollah will respond to Israel, as Hezbollah just declared that “the assassination of Saleh al-Arouri will not go unanswered and that Israel must prepare for WHAT IS TO COME.”

Assassinated leader Saleh Al Arouri stated on August 25, 2023 that “We Want War With Israel, We Will Shut Down Israel's Airspace, Israel’s Seaports, Electricity, Water Supply, And Communications, Bringing Its Economy To A Standstill.”

First reports coming in of the transport of heavy equipment (rockets 🚀) by Hezbollah forces to southern Lebanon. Reports that Hezbollah leader Nasrallah, has arrived in Tehran to meet with Iranian leaders.

Shelters have been opened in several population centers in northern Israel and near the city of Haifa for the incoming Hezbollah attacks.

Israel warned its citizens back in October to prepare to stay in bomb shelters for up to a few weeks, and to plan accordingly with food and water.

That day might be quickly approaching.

Israel prepares for retaliation from Lebanon or Gaza in response to Beirut assassination; The IDF is ready for any option ranging from limited action to eruption of a full-scale war.

Defense analyst Ron Ben-Yishai said that Hezbollah is UNLIKELY to take drastic action but will aim to strike from southern Lebanon. Hamas will try to fire rockets at Tel Aviv, and possibly launch terrorist attacks overseas, he says.

If Hezbollah barely responds, then the assassination of this Hamas leader is a nothing burger.

Hezbollah MIGHT respond harshly, which is one reason why Nasrallah is in Iran now.

Hezbollah will respond to show strength, but based on their rhetoric in recent months and their unwillingness to escalate, the response will be more about optics.

That being said, it is very quiet right now. Not normal.

On New Year's Eve, Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei calls on Iran-backed militias to escalate in the region to commemorate the 4th anniversary of the assassination of Qassem Soleimani.
