⚠️ SBI CUSTOMER DATA EXPOSURE REPORTED

State Bank of India (SBI) has reported a data exposure incident involving customer information found on the dark web.

Key Updates:

- Around 3.75 lakh records were reviewed.
- 3,897 customer records containing personal information were identified in the preliminary analysis.
- Information reportedly includes names, mobile numbers, email IDs, addresses and certain loan-related details.
- SBI says its core banking operations continue normally, and there is no material impact on its business operations. The investigation is ongoing.
