Mother's Day was founded in West Virginia!

I visited the International Mother's Day Shrine in Grafton, WV in 2008.  The creator of Mother's Day, Anna Jarvis, wrote about this holiday:

I hope and pray that someone, sometime, will found a memorial mothers day commemorating her for the matchless service she renders to humanity in every field of life. She is entitled to it.

Members of Western Frontier met up to test their strength, endurance and determination by climbing almost 900 meters in less than 6km. The gruelling trek provided the necessary environment to strengthen our brotherhood and our resolve to the continued betterment of ourselves and in turn, our nation.
