The key point is that the Latency that you get on receiver's side is a product of the Latency set on the Sender's / Publisher's side.
Callaba is a receiver too, even though in most use cases Callaba is "the middleman". It's the receiver in the middle.
So, oftentimes the Latency that was set up on the Sender's side is too short and the stream does not have enough time to travel across the network to its destination and fill in the receiver buffer.
That's why the strategy to eliminate Packet Drops consists of these two main actions :
π’ Increasing the Latency on the Sender's side
π’ Shortening the distance the packet has to travel and optimising the network route
