On March 30, an Iranian cargo vessel arrived at the port of Bandar Abbas, carrying 24 containers of sodium perchlorate, a key material used for solid-fuel ballistic missiles.

Rumors are becoming more prevalent that the Iranian 🇮🇷 port in Bandar Abbas was “TARGETED” and the chemicals were used for ballistic 🚀 missiles.

The explosion earlier today and major fire at the Shahid Rajaee Port in Bandar Abbas, IRAN 🇮🇷 is intensifying. Local firefighters say they lack the equipment needed to control the blaze, which is rapidly spreading to other areas that contain more explosive and flammable containers.

The death toll has risen to 8 with over 750 injured.

According to AP, the explosion was caused by missile 🚀 fuel.

The Iran port fire is expanding, not contained. It's not clear if the port- Iran's LARGEST PORT- will be operational in the short term. This is a Huge economic blow to Iran 🇮🇷 and another mega crisis on top of hosts of crises.

Iranian authorities have deployed trucks to build a SAND EMBANKMENT around the Bandar Abbas port fire to curb its spread.

Today, the third meeting between the US and Iran took place, and it is interesting to see what was said by Iran’s FM Araghchi:

“There are serious differences between us, and some less serious,” Araghchi said. “I think our progress so far has been good. We are satisfied with the course of the negotiations. Both sides are showing seriousness.”
