This is the first time I have seen lampreys in the creek! They may survive if we can keep people from spraying herbicides under the power lines and around the ditches that flow into it. Lampreys are historically a very important source of fat. King henry viii enjoyed them, as have countless hunter-gatherers.
I am going to try to figure out what I can do to help them thrive. I find new species on this property every year. I take that as a good sign!

Holy cow! I just found out the raw milk bill did actually pass in WV. It passed late Sat night, but the legislature website didnt update until late yesterday. Woohoo!!!!!
Raw milk will be legal in WV. It's a huge win for freedom and my campaign. This has been a long 12+ year fight for me personally.
