Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino sounded the alarm after agents foiled an alleged plot to attack the UFC Freedom 250 event with explosive-laden drones, warning that rapidly advancing drone technology is becoming increasingly difficult to stop.

“This technology is evolving on probably weekly, if not monthly, cycles now,” Bongino said. “It’s very difficult to defeat.”

VP JD Vance said the foiled UFC 250 attack plot is another sign of the country’s increasingly heated political climate. “This is what happens when people turn the rhetoric up so loud that disagreeing with somebody becomes a cause for violence,” Vance said, calling on leaders to lower the temperature while arguing much of today’s political violence is coming from the left.

Vance also praised the FBI and federal law enforcement for stopping what he said could have been a major tragedy. He noted that agents rarely receive recognition for the attacks they prevent, saying they often only get blamed when attacks succeed.

President Trump on his agreement with Iran: "It's a very important document, and, unlike Obama, who could've destroyed the Middle East with the horrible JCPOA... that was a road to a nuclear weapon. Mine is a wall against a nuclear weapon."

VP JD Vance criticized what he called media “propagandists” for their coverage of the Iran agreement, accusing critics of repeating Iranian talking points while ignoring the actual terms of the deal. “Not a single cent of American money goes to Iran. Not $300 billion, not $24 billion,” Vance said.

Vance argued that opponents are focusing on hypothetical economic benefits Iran could receive while overlooking the agreement’s core requirement: a long-term, verifiable commitment that Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon.

President Trump said he plans to hold a press conference and read the full memorandum of understanding with Iran “word-by-word” to ensure the media reports on it accurately. He called the agreement a “very important document” and said the public will be able to see its contents in full.

Trump also contrasted the deal with the Obama-era nuclear agreement, calling the JCPOA “the worst agreement” and arguing it created a path to a nuclear weapon. He said his agreement instead serves as a “wall against a nuclear weapon.”
