IS SYRIA ABOUT TO FALL? Rebel forces were seen tearing down a poster of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad amid their ongoing offensive in Aleppo, located in the northwest of the country.

Earlier on Friday, reports indicated that Syrian Arab Army forces were retreating from their positions north of Aleppo, as rebel forces had already advanced to the city center.

Rebels were filmed taking down the Syrian flag at the statue of Bassel al-Assad, the late brother of President Bashar al-Assad, near the Syrian Military Intelligence Headquarters in New Aleppo, after reports of the site’s capture earlier today.

BREAKING NOW: Footage reportedly shows a mile-long convoy of opposition military vehicles entering Aleppo from the western outskirts in northern Syria.
