• Photos and videos showed city crews in South Jordan, approximately 15 miles north of Salt Lake City, clearing thousands of tumbleweeds.

• Tumbleweeds not only inundated surrounding homes and obstructed driveways but also blocked roads within the city.

• Authorities resorted to deploying dumpsters to aid in the removal.

• The winds responsible for transporting the tumbleweeds also toppled trees and created perilous road conditions across the state.

Chicago Goons Murdered 2 Innocent People for No Reason at All: Cops

• Two men, Tylo Eddins and Ishawn Pitts, accused of fatally shooting two people in Waukegan in a random act of violence, police say.

• Eddins allegedly carjacked a silver 2020 Kia Sorrento in Chicago on Feb. 24, after which he drove to Waukegan.

• In Waukegan, Eddins robbed a victim of $20 and later shot two victims, Rodrigo Olivan and Ana Gil, while Pitts also allegedly fired at them numerous times.

• The Kia, driven by the suspects, crashed in Zion after the shooting, leading detectives to link it to the double homicide.

• Eddins was arrested in Killeen, Texas, for an unrelated burglary case, while Pitts was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.

• The victims had no connection to the suspects or any crimes, indicating the shooting was random and there was no motive, police said.
