India has made impressive progress in global rankings, jumping 25 places from 82nd to 57th between 2010 and 2023, according to a new report by the Competere Foundation. The improvement is attributed to sustained structural and pro-competitive reforms aimed at reducing market distortions.
The report, titled “India’s Next Growth Frontier”, was launched during a discussion organised by the Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL) and the Competere Foundation in New Delhi.
