Combating industries led air pollution in Bihar :-
🕸️Industrial units in Bihar shifting to cleaner source of energy with BSPCB deciding to not grant permission to units which use furnace oil and coal for their boilers in areas having piped supply of CNG PNG and/or LPG.
🕸️BSPCB directed the state transport dept. to phase out all diesel run buses and replacing them with CNG or battery propelled vehicles.
🕸️BSPCB also decided to not grant operating licence to brick kilns🧱 not using zigzag technology, used to improve efficiency and reduce pollution by stacking bricks in a zigzag pattern instead of a straight line the pattern increases the length of the air flow path, which improves and heat transfer rates.
