NITI Aayog released the SDG India Index 2023-24. According to it, India's overall Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) score has improved from 66 in 2020-21 to 71 in 2023-24. Uttarakhand and Kerala are the top-performing states in the index with 79 points. Tamil Nadu is second with 78 points and Goa is third with 77 points.
Bihar (57), Jharkhand (62), and Nagaland (63) are the worst performing states in this year's index.
