3 life lessons I’ve learned:
1️⃣ Blowing up someone’s candle won’t make yours shine brighter.
If someone’s life looks “better” than yours — be happy for them. We all have our own timing and blessings. Someone might become a millionaire at 20 and die at 50, while someone else may reach success at 50 and live happily till 90. Your light doesn’t get dimmer by letting others shine.
2️⃣ Don’t compare yourself to others.
It’s you vs you. Your path, your pace, your story. Everyone’s timing is different — and it’s perfectly designed for each of us. The only person you should try to be better than is who you were yesterday.
3️⃣ If you want to do or say something — just do it.
(Of course, if it’s something kind or good.)
It’s better to do it and regret than to regret not doing it. If you feel like you might one day wish you had said it, done it, or tried it — then go for it. Enjoy life, try new things, and truly live.

And one more thing:
Don’t let your past define who you are today. The past doesn’t exist anymore — it only lives in your mind. Don’t close yourself off from life because of something that once hurt you. You’ll never be this young again, so live, be grateful, and stay open. Sometimes what feels like a bad experience turns out to be the best thing that ever happened to you. Not everything good is a blessing, and not everything bad is a punishment.

IELTS Speaking Part 1
I think… maybe…»
• “Well, that’s an interesting question.”
• “Let me think for a second…”
• “I’ve never really thought about that before, but I guess…”
• “To be honest, I’d say that…”
• “I’d probably go with…”
• “Actually, I’m quite into…”
• “As far as I remember…”
• “When I was younger…”
• “In my daily life, I usually…”
👉 Например: “Do you like reading?” ✖️ “Yes, I do.” ✅ “Yes, I do! I really enjoy reading in the evenings because it helps me relax after a busy day at school.”

IELTS Writing Task 1 📊
* самый высокий показатель
* самый низкий
* резкий рост / резкое падение
* явный контраст между категориями
✔ overall trend
✔ major differences
✔ highest / lowest
✔ general comparison

Advanced Grammar for IELTS | Part 1 ✨
NOT ONLY … BUT ALSO
📌 Зачем это в IELTS?
— показывает range of grammar
Speaking
Not only + факт A, but also + факт B
(Band 7–8):
▪️ This job not only provides financial stability, but also offers opportunities for personal growth.
▪️ Social media not only connects people, but also influences their behaviour.
🔥 Advanced level (инверсия — Band 8–9):
▪️ Not only does this policy reduce unemployment, but it also boosts economic growth.
▪️ Not only has technology changed education, but it has also transformed communication.
❌ Not only it helps students, but also improves skills
✅ Not only does it help students, but it also improves their skills
Only when / Rarely / No sooner? 👀
NOT ONLY … BUT ALSO
