Dear friends... Hope you are preparing well for Prelims 2020. I want to give some inputs for those who are sincerely preparing for the last one year. At this situation many of us will get a feeling that we have not revised/prepared well. We even think of postponing our attempt to next year. Some of us will accumulate more and more study material in the last minute. Based on my experience I can confidently say that no one can complete 100% syllabus. This prelims exam is a 2 hours game. Your success depends on how you play this game in those 2 hours time. Last minute preparation won't you help you much. Only your accumulated knowledge will help you to clear this examination. This is the nature of competitive examinations. So, organise your preparation properly based on what you have studied so far. Practice few question papers. It will help you to avoid careless and silly mistakes in the exam. In the examination hall when you look at the question paper you might get a feeling that you forgot everything and you can't able to recollect some information. But don't worry this will be the situation for 99% of candidates. Don't panic. Be calm. You can able to recollect points one by one. First attempt well known questions and skip immediately if u don't know answer for a particular question. In the first round you can able to answer only 35-40 questions. It will increase your confidence and your tension will reduce. After that try other questions. Based on the nature of question paper try to attempt 80-90 questions. During my preparation I attempted more than 12 preliminary examinations (UPSC, State PSC, SSC, IBPS...) I never failed in any one of those preliminary examinations. Simply I followed the above strategy. So, don't think that you have not studied well. Be confident. You can easily crack this game. All the best👍
