Moments ago, VOP Volunteer Sandy received a severely wounded Mexican Female in her 20s as she was dropped off and forced to walk across the Designated Child Dumping Area.
Sandy, being a former Nurse, was unable to get a response from Border Patrol so she placed the wounded Woman in her vehicle and drove rapidly to the first Border Patrol Agent, approximately 1/4 mile away.
She was warned by the Agents that others would arrest her for her actions and discouraged from continuing her Watch.
Sandy's actions represent the Humanity in our Volunteers and her decisions are 100% supported by all of us at VOP.
VOP will complete the remaining Objectives wherever possible as we dismantle our Operations and extract our people from Border-related Operations.
Delta CRC is 90% packed up and will be transported out in the next 2 hours.
