Happy Mahāśivarātri to all of you.

Celebrated on the 14th day of Krishna Paksha in the month of Phalgun, this sacred night commemorates the divine marriage of Bhagwan Shiva and Maa Parvatiβ€”the eternal union of pure consciousness (Shiva) and cosmic energy/nature (Shakti).

Mahashivratri symbolises the balance of Purusha and Prakriti, awareness and action, stillness and dynamism.
It reminds us that creation exists only when consciousness and energy unite.

On this night, Shiva is believed to be closest to humanityβ€”offering wisdom, liberation, and inner awakening to those who seek truth.

This night also marks the cosmic Tandava, the dance of creation, preservation, and destructionβ€”symbolizing the eternal rhythm of the universe.

Shiva is not a deity outside, but the consciousness within.

True Grit

Author:- Bear Grylls

Bear Grylls knows what it takes to survive. But he's not the first.

Or Marcus Luttrell, a Navy SEAL who single-handedly took on a Taliban regiment before dragging his bleeding body for days through the harsh mountains of Afghanistan...

Or Nando Parrado, one of the survivors of a horrific air-crash high in the ice-bound Andes, who only lived because he was willing to eat the flesh of his dead companions...

In this gripping new book, Bear tells the stories of the adventurers, explorers, soldiers and spies whose refusal to quit in the most extreme situations has inspired him throughout his life. Some of them make uncomfortable reading - survival is rarely pretty. But all of them are tales of eye-watering bravery, death-defying resilience and extraordinary mental toughness by men and women who have one thing in common, TRUE GRIT.

Lone Survivor

Author:- Marcus Luttrell

On a clear night in late June 2005, four U.S. Navy SEALs left their base in northern Afghanistan for the mountainous Pakistani border. Their mission was to kill a fierce Al-Qaeda leader ensconced in a Taliban stronghold. Less then twenty-four hours later, only one remained alive.

This is the story of Marcus Luttrell, the sole survivor of Operation Redwing, and the desperate battle in the mountains that led, ultimately, to the largest loss of life in Navy SEAL history. But it is also the story of his teammates, who fought ferociously beside him until he was the last one left-blasted unconscious by a rocket grenade still breathing. Over the next four days, badly injured and presumed dead, Luttrell fought off six al Qaeda assassins who were sent to finish him, then crawled for seven miles through the mountains before he was taken in by a Pashtun tribe, who risked everything to protect him from the encircling Taliban killers.

There is a concept of 'T' reading. Touching various fields (going wide) while going deep in your area of interest.
This not only increases your exposure but also helps in understanding the concepts better.

When given comparisons and contrasts, the brain grasps concepts easily and in a better way. Also increases the sustainability of those concepts because the brain now has more neural connections than before.
