π Five Survive
β 9.5/10
π Six friends. One RV. One sniper who knows their secrets.
This book is basically tension from start to finish I couldnβt relax reading it.
Some characters annoyed me (in a good way π), but the twists kept coming.
If you like fast-paced survival stories, this hits.
Would you stay calm in a situation like this or panic?

π Hazel has been living with cancer for years, knowing her time is limited. Life feels like it already has an ending written for her.
Then she meets Augustus Waters at a support group charismatic, funny, and full of life in a way she isnβt expecting.
What starts as a simple connection slowly turns into something deeper ,love, laughter, and moments that feel bigger than their illness.
But even love canβt change the reality theyβre facingβ¦
A story about living fully, even when time is short and finding meaning in the moments in between.
Would you risk loving someone if you knew it might hurt you in the end?
My favorite quotesβ¨π₯
"My thoughts are like stars I canβt fathom into constellations.)"
"Without pain, we couldnβt know joy β. .)
"You gave me a forever within a numbered day and I am grateful "βΎοΈ

I found this theory while surfing the internet and I thought why not share it , some of us may relate , here it goes....
π whale theory
the βwhale theoryβ is a way people describe highly sensitive, introverted individuals who feel everything deeply but donβt show it on the surface like whales in the ocean, most of whatβs going on is hidden underneath.
on the outside, they seem calm, stable even unaffected.
but inside, thereβs a whole world of emotion that people donβt see
they love deeply and sincerely, even when itβs not returned.
they donβt react loudly when theyβre hurt. they go quiet instead ,not because they donβt feel anything, but because they feel too much and choose to deal with it alone.
they prefer solitude when things get heavy. not for attention, not for drama just to process life in their own space.,this type of person is often misunderstood
people think they donβt care, or theyβre distant
but the truth is usually the opposite
they care too much, just silently and over time, they learn independence not because they want to be alone, but because they got used to handling emotions in depth, not in public ,not everything deep is visible.
some people are just like oceans on the inside full of so many unspoken thoughts and emotions.....
Have a good Sunday peopleβοΈπ¦οΈ
Today I did something Iβve never thought I would.....
I finally went on a solo date.
Itβs something I always wanted to try, but kept delaying for no real reason today, I just did it.
And honestly It felt different. A bit uncomfortable at first⦠but also freeing ,
I think Iβm starting to understand that growth doesnβt come from staying comfortable
It comes from doing things that feel scary, and doing them anyway and overcoming my social anxiety along the way π ...

The Kill Order is a dark prequel to The Maze Runner that shows how the Flare outbreak begins and how the world falls apart before Thomasβs story. It follows Mark and a small group of survivors in a fast, chaotic survival journey filled with action and desperation. The book is intense and adds useful backstory about the Flare and WICKED, but it doesnβt have the same strong character depth or emotional impact as the main trilogy. Overall, itβs good for understanding the origins of the world, but it feels more like a survival side story than a core part of the series.

The Fever Code is a prequel to The Maze Runner that explains how Thomas, Teresa, and the other Gladers ended up in the Maze. It takes place inside WICKEDβs facility and shows the creation of the Maze trials, the memory wipes, and how the Gladers were slowly prepared for the experiment. The story is more emotional than The Kill Order, especially because it focuses on Thomas and Teresaβs relationship and the moral conflict around what WICKED is doing. It adds a lot of important context to the main trilogy, but since you already know how things end, the tension is more about how it happened rather than surprise. Overall, itβs a good prequel with more emotional depth and better character connection than The Kill Order
