Tourism, Hospitality and COVID 19: Business Challenges and Transformations
Debasish Batabyal, Partho Pratim Seal, Sandeep Chatterjee
Description According to the UN Secretary General Guterres, A. (2020) COVID 19 pandemic is not like the financial crisis in 2008 as the world is in a war economy. COVID 19 attack has changed the basic orientation of human civilization. May be, now we have understood how easy and congenial our lives are in the terms of mobility, livelihood and interpersonal relationship. The learnt practice which we were habituated with is not going now. The abrupt change in human behaviour is not easy. We have to practice a new behaviour when we step out from our residence, whatever we do and whomsoever we are meeting or talking to. The pandemic has hit the tourism sector severely along with the global economic and financial crisis whichhasbrought it to a standstill. This, emergency has brought economic, political and socio- c
Book Title
Multifunctional MIMO Antennas: Fundamentals and Applications
Introduction: It is hard to imagine a wireless system without antennas. Antennas play a
prominent role in wireless communication systems, as they effectively transform electronic signals
into electromagnetic waves. Antennas are fundamental components of any electrical circuit as they
provide an interface between transmitter and free space and receiver. In present scenario the
increase in the demand of multiple wireless standards in the handheld devices has arisen which
has posed a new challenge for antenna designers and researchers to design and develop
multiband, broadband, compact, light weight and optimized antennas which can be easily
fabricated or integrated within wireless devices. The multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO)
technology was projected in the 1990’s as a feasible solution to resolve the data rate limit of single
antenna systems. This book is focused on to explore the multifunctional aspects of MIMO antenna
design with full design examples from literature, along with comprehensive artworks for the
numerous antenna structures.
Table of Contents: Following are the topics for chapters but not limited to this, other topics
relevant to title of book will also be considered.
