A few announcements for 2023:

Going forward, I will no longer be automatically including shipping in the price of a core. Given the increasing costs of silicone and the steadily increasing parcel costs, this was sort of an inevitable change. However, a few new value-adds should offset this. First, I'll be including a paper sewing pattern at no additional charge with every shipped tail, and I'll also be adding in several sticker sets as a fun bonus as well. I've been planning this for awhile and have acquired sticker sheets with broad appeal from several artists, and will be expanding this over the course of 2023.

I intend to keep the existing price point on cores and sleeves as it is for the whole of 2023. This is to say that it will remain at 250 USD for cores, and 50 to 90 for sleeves. Several suit and tail makers have placed wholesale orders for tail cores and I'll be supplying them in the next month or two, so expect that I'll be cross-promoting their boingy creations here and especially in the t.me/boingy2 group chat.

Also, I've decided to make a landing page over at https://boingytail.carrd.co/ , which will include an introduction to boingy tails, useful information for tail owners, and cross-links to social media things. I have not built out the site just quite yet, but I ought to have that operational within the coming weeks.

At this time, my anticipated convention schedule for the rest of 2023 is Vancouver (VF) in March, Edmonton (Fur-Eh) in July, Minnesota (FM) in September, and Reno + San Jose (BLFC + Pawcon) in October.

Here we have the old mold (top) that got me through a year and a half of making boingy cores. It did approximately 212 castings and it finally gets to retire. Below is the newer model, incorporating a whole boatload of small changes that were learned from the previous generation. Just need to get it all sanded and glued and into action. :)
