Tribute to Pigcasso, a South African artist...
In 2016, she and her sister were rescued from the slaughterhouse by Joanne Lefson, who'd began a sanctuary just that year.
It was observed that this pig ravaged all items and materials within her spaces, save some paintbrushes..
So with some support and reinforcement, Pigcasso discovered her passion. Mainly abstract inspirations, but some forms are undeniably familiar, such as the Penguin piece attached.
