بوی مورد نظر با استفاده از کروماتوگرافی گاز و طیف‌سنجی جرمی تجزیه و تحلیل و دیجیتالی می‌شود و یک اثر انگشت بویایی دقیق تا سطح مولکولی به دست می‌آید.⠀

سپس هوش مصنوعی این داده‌ها را بر روی پایگاه داده اختصاصی شرکت Osomo بزرگ‌ترین کتابخانه بویایی در جهان نقشه‌برداری می‌کند تا یک فرمول دیجیتالی برای بوی مورد نظر ایجاد کند.⠀
