I am excited to share that I will join the University of Cincinnati as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical & Materials Engineering department starting in January. I will be heading the Metasonics Lab (https://lnkd.in/ekmMTj7Q), where we will use sound to sense the world in new ways. Our group will translate fundamental concepts from physics and material science into practical solutions that tackle some of humanity's biggest challenges, from climate change to affordable healthcare. I aim to establish a research group that enjoys integrating cutting-edge technologies, such as 3D printing, IoT, and AI, into systems that solve real-world problems. As a step towards this vision, I am recruiting PhD students for Fall 2024 (possibly earlier).
