Hey blubbers, just a quick update.
As you know, BLUB has a really cool culture of innovation. Our staking has been a massive success — it’s the only meme token that offers such a simple, native staking solution.
However, some of you may have noticed that from time to time the user experience can be affected when rewards temporarily fail to claim. That happens because our staking architecture includes what we call “promised tokens.”
So sometimes you’ll see rewards that are already counted but not yet fully funded — meaning part of the tokens haven’t been deposited yet. Since everyone can withdraw whenever they want, large withdrawals from long-term stakers can occasionally drain the pool earlier than expected. This is a design choice.
In practice, the total rewards remain the same — but occasionally there can be short delays.
We might soon introduce a second implementation that only distributes rewards from tokens already deposited. In that model, once the pool runs out, rewards stop accruing until new deposits arrive. It would improve user experience, but you might see your stake not generating yield from time to time. There’s no silver bullet — it’s all about trade-offs in architecture.
Anyway, I just wanted to clarify why sometimes the reward withdrawals are temporarily unavailable. But as mentioned, this doesn’t affect how much you earn — only when you receive it.
And to be clear — this is a BLUB problem, in the best sense. It happens because we dared to build something native and innovative. We’re the only memecoin with native staking, and one of the very few on the entire network.

Guys, the NFTs on Walrus are currently experiencing an image rendering issue due to the Tusky provider being used. We’re evaluating a migration plan for the artwork. In the best-case scenario, this will only require updating the image URL. In the worst-case scenario, we may need to issue a 1:1 identical NFT to current holders.
