Statement from Blocktrade to our UK customers 🇬🇧

What happened today?
We were informed today that all accounts for residents in the UK have to be closed without exemptions.

Why?
For reasons outside of Blocktrade, this is to do with the new regulations in the UK.

What will happen to your assets?
Even though your accounts are currently frozen your assets still exist in the system and we’re working on a solution to get them back to you. This will take time, please be patient. Our goal is to open your accounts for withdrawals as soon as possible.

What about locked tokens?
The moment we’re able to open your accounts again the team will decide on the best way to get these assets back to you as well.

Any timeline?
We want to solve this in the following days as soon as possible. Once you're able to access your account, withdrawals can be done till the 30th of November.

What if I own Blocktrade shares?
You are still able to hold shares of the company so these are not affected by the current situation.
