😊 Fresh Crypto Update

Bitcoin briefly dipped below $108,000 overnight as the broader crypto market slid by several percent on October 30. The drop followed remarks from Fed Chair Jerome Powell, suggesting that October’s rate cut might be the last one for 2025.

Market volatility increased further in the morning after U.S.–China talks concluded with joint statements hinting at progress in trade negotiations.

Over the past 24 hours, total crypto market capitalization fell by more than 2%, nearing $3.74 trillion, with intraday losses reaching around 4%. As of 08:50 a.m. UTC, Bitcoin traded below $111,000, while Ethereum hovered near $3,930 — both down about 2%, having earlier touched lows of $108,000 and $3,840, respectively.

More than $800 million in long positions were liquidated across exchanges during the past day, according to Coinglass data. Over 150,000 traders saw forced position closures, with the largest losses coming from bullish bets on BTC and ETH.

How AI Models Traded Crypto — and How ChatGPT “Burned” Its Deposit

In October, six popular language models — including ChatGPT, Gemini, and DeepSeek — took part in a crypto trading experiment.

Each model received $10,000 in real funds and operated under identical conditions: every three minutes, they were fed the same market data for six major cryptocurrencies, but trading decisions were made independently.

After just two weeks, four models had lost money. ChatGPT was down 60% of its deposit, Gemini lost 57%. Only DeepSeek and QWEN3 finished in profit, though even their gains were partly eaten up by trading fees.
