Heute um 14:00 ist eine Critical Mass vom Camp gestartet. Die IAA-Teststrecke wurde abgefahren, und am Landtag vorbei. So wurde lautstark gegen den Auto-Wahnsinn protestiert. Zwischenzeitlich gab eine Kessel-Situation. Es sind aber alle wohlbehalten zurück im Camp.

Today at 14:00 a Critical Mass started from the camp. The IAA test track was driven off, and past the Landtag. Thus was loudly protested against the car madness. There was a kettle situation for some time. But all are safe and sound back in the camp.

Attac activists put up satirically distorted car advertising posters in numerous showcases spread over the Munich city area in the night from Wednesday to Thursday. The fake advertising campaign, in which carpitalistic Germany is burned down, flooded and parched, is directed against the car industry and its greenwashing attempts. Cars are far too often seen in Germany as the symbol par excellence of freedom. We show which freedom is actually meant: the freedom to ruthlessly destroy our livelihoods for profits! The lobby politics of the car manufacturers and their allies in the Ministry of Transport ensure that people and nature continue to fall under the wheels of this climate-damaging industry.

Die Polizei kontrolliert ab heute morgen die Personalien und Kennzeichen aller ankommenden Autos aufs Camp. Jedes Auto wird zeitaufwändig durchsucht. Diese Repression führt zu Verzögerungen in der Küche, dem Bildungsprogramm und der Infrastruktur des Camp. Heute reisen zahlreiche Internationale Referent*innen an, die von den Repressionen der Polizei besonders intersektionell betroffen sind. Das Bildungscamp muss sich willkürlichen Kontrollen behaupten und wird in seiner Arbeit kriminalisiert.  Die Personenkontrollen auf einer angemeldeten Versammlung sowie bei einer An- und Abreise verstoßen gegen das Grundrecht auf die Versammlungsfreiheit und wir verurteilen diesen Rechtsbruch der Polizei aufs Schärfste.

English: Starting this morning, the police will check the personal details and license plates of all cars arriving at the camp. Each car is searched in a time-consuming manner. This repression leads to delays in the kitchen, the educational program and the infrastructure of the camp. Today, numerous international speakers are arriving, who are particularly intersectionally affected by the repression of the police. The educational camp has to face arbitrary controls and is criminalized in its work. The controls of people at a registered assembly as well as during arrival and departure violate the fundamental right to freedom of assembly and we condemn this violation of the law by the police in the strongest possible terms.
