What are your thoughts on mobix.ai ?
This entire mobility as well as energy market have so many great but different opportunities... It is very good for the progress and innovation overall that different players explore, build and specify in that space. It shows that we are in the right place, in the right time.
if we preach decentralization, openness and competition for our industrial partners and companies. We have to show these qualities in the field of blockchain ventures as well.

Is there any connection with Peaq? They are a Gaia-X and Mobi partner, work with a car manufacturer and have EV charging use case.
There is no connection with Peaq. We are both with MOBI and GAIA-X (we through OMEGA-X, the energy sub track of GAIA-X) and also a lot of us based in Germany. But no direct affiliation. Also quite different operational and business model.

Can you tell us about your open source philosophy and goals?
Open Source is one of the four backbones of our roadmap. We developed the software within Daimler Financial Services and Daimler Mobility and then organized a spin-off where we bought the software.
Now we are gradually releasing it out to open source.
Once we go live on our mainnet 100% of our software will be open source!

Is there any prerequisites for a company if they want to join / use bloXmove ?
From business side, they need to understand the concept of DAO = decentralized automated organizations.
They do need to have reasonably modern IT infrastructure or even better have the courage to go fully greenfield with us!

When a user pays for a trip, where will bloXmove buy the blxm token from for settlement since for end users it will still be in their local currency?
Through the treasury. The treasury will be operating its own liquidity pool, which is open and therefore synchronised and exchanging with the open market

Centralised Companies such as UBER can sometimes struggle to be profitable, Uber faces several challenges both in the U.S. and worldwide. There have been legislative and court challenges to Uber classifying its drivers as independent contractors rather than employees, & Some authorities are imposing access or other special fees on Uber, increasing the cost of a ride and making the service less competitive than traditional taxis. How Does bloXmove plans to solve this issues since its a Decentralised platform? How would you help individual users with the current High cost of Transportation Fees?
That is exactly our core proposition, We believe in STOP AGGREGATING - START COLLABORATING. Think of how big the virtually aggregated fleet of all small fleets becomes if they can use one common transaction layer. they can only start to be more profitable and reduce costs if they share platform resources and collaborate when it comes to the identification of customers, front-ends, reduce administration etc.
On its own the 50 vehicle fleet owner does not profit from this. Based on decentralized tech every mobility app provide gets access to 5000 vehicles and every fleet owner has access to 2 million users, the sharing economy on steroids. That is the true true power of P2P decentralization. Until now all this aggregation was centrally controlled on the user side: the Big Dragons took the user relationship - force everybody through their app only and take the customer relationship away from the operator.
With decentralized tech all participants can share assets and users based on crypto blockchain verifiable transactions, so also bloXmove is not owning the alliance at the end, we are the network provider for that... the mobility partners lead and rule the ecosystem, on eye level.

What kind of reciprocal relationship does bloxmove want to create between the users of the transport service, the transport service provider itself and bloxmove?
In most cities where we started with our business - (focus on Europe and APAC), we see many hybrid marketsWe see ourselves as the facilitator. We provide the infrastructure and the mechanisms for users, mobility provides and transport operators to interact in a balanced environment with no centralized control. Our business model with those partners is based on transaction fees, we count a full transaction from: customer identification to the B2B settlement.
Roaming is managed through clever combination of such technologies like DID and Blockchain - any mobility operator can issue verified credentials and sell tickets or services and issue them as cryptographically verifiable tickets and access tokens.
These tickets and credentials are pure crypto - so any organization in the ecosystem can verify them. So, a customer only needs to receive a crypto credential once and can then present it like an ID card or ticket to any operator. Because such credentials act like SIM cards - they are signed by the operator that sold them - the operator who provides services can now bill the operator who sold the ticket in direct B2B.

How does the "BLOXMOVE GREEN DEAL” help in grid balancing?
Germany and other European countries subsidize renewable energy by paying higher prices and guaranteeing UNLIMITED feed-in to the power grid to power generated with renewable energy. As opposed by fuel energy, which you turn up or down depending on demand, sun shines when it shines and wind blow when it blows Which means we have days where so much renewable power is generated that the network doesn't have the demand for it.
This is a very dangerous thing for the network. The result is that Germany then sends this power to neighbouring countries (NOTE: this power has been paid for!) and on top of that even pays these countries for taking the power. Flexibility is the product which is used in energy markets to sell flexible (options) storage on demand to catch and store such spikes or provide stored energy in demand peaks.
Together with 50Hertz (one of Germany's four power grid operators) and the Energy Web Foundation we are working on a system to use electric fleets to provide this flexibility to the power grid.

Is Hertz a partner for energy mobility (i.e. energy supply) or transfer mobility (i.e. car rental)?
50hertz is one of the biggest energy providers in Germany and beyond - with full focus on green / renewable energies; HQ is in Berlin. We partner with them related to the 'power meets mobility' product cases - meaning on their energy side. Further partners are EWF and Fraunhofer with their charging infrastructure
So in this case it is 50hertz / Elia group not the Hertz car rental though we started the pitch process to connect them to our urban mobility alliance.

Can individuals add their rides to the platform for leasing and car sharing or right now is your main focus still Major Mobility providers?
In Europe we are focusing on the transport operators which offer fleets like bus train cars bikes scooters so we onboard more and more partners that offer their tickets and rides via our web3 infrastructure, we ease and automate their business to Business communication and settlements

Ultimately, how can individual companies benefit from using bloXmove?
Our B2B partners are transport operators like 🚆 🚌 🛵 🚲 and benefit on the following dimensions:
1) they create a joint ecosystem in which any party can offer the own assets & services PLUS the services of the other network partners —> very similar to the concept of airlines: star alliance
2) they reduce customer identification and onboarding costs; because if one provider already verified a customer, the other providers can use that information based on „decentralized identifiers“ (DID) —> they reduce the high acquisition costs which is the highest cost position in the urban mobility journey
3) with BloXmove every party needs to onboard only once; due to the decentralized network structure; this is the most efficient way of connecting many providers; right now they have to build single interfaces with every party —> no integration hassle
4) they can earn new revenues because many customers would not download and verify for the fifth scooter app; but if they can use their familiar, local car sharing „blue“ app and can open the scooter „yellow”; Blue Car keeps a very happy Customer; Yellow scooter sells another ride without any acquisition costs
5) the most complex dimension in such a partnership scenario is the dimension of settlement between different legal entities; right now accounting departments have huge pain in the administration and have to manually select different amounts to do the billing; Our distributed ledger can automate the entire process and will re-structure the way of settlement for companies in such an ecosystem like ours —> this allows new connected solutions like mobility budgets for employers
6) combined pattern of dynamic transaction curves can improve the relation and services which transport operators can offer/jointly generate with cities in order to win their tenders

What are the main goals of bloxmove's Green Deal - in the short and long term?
First of all: our goal is to offer CO2 neutral blockchain solutions as BloXmove
This is why we collaborate with energy web and celo as mainnets today and even more in future
Short-term: with our NFTticket and NFTcertificate protocol we offer a standard to certify, proof, collect and trade carbon credits (first customers like NRVerse, eQuota); for example with NRverse we calculate, compensate and trade the CO2 consumption of metaverse events… this is production ready
Long-Term: the entire energy grid and market will be decentralized in future; many new actors join the circle: cars, private households, fleet providers; charging points, smaller and bigger parks of renewable energies… BloXmove verifies and connects the cars, charging points and runs the high number of financial transactions between companies, vehicles, prosumers….
eCars will become the most effective energy storage; bidirectional charging technology needs to be the standard; so yes as you said this is a huge potential and future business development- it is not a ready product today…
But with the BloXmove mobility ecosystem we have already the fundament with fleets, charging points…

What SSI technology are you thinking to utilise? Your own or something like TYKN or cheqd?
DID is a set of standard protocols. They are standardized. Whichever API (Sphereon, Veramo, Ontology) you use doesn’t matter that much.
DID is actually the correct technical term. SSI is a synonym used to emphasize the sovereignty over personal data aspect. The protocol is called DID.

Isn't EWT already doing this? What makes Bloxmove different?
We are focusing on the transport operators which offer fleets like bus, train, cars, bikes and scooters. So we onboard more and more partners that offer their tickets and rides via our web3 infrastructure, we ease and automate their business to Business communication and settlements
Plus
Our further sweet spot are financial transactions and the coupling of layer 1 chain and B2B applications
As you know, EWF is focusing on decentralized identities of energy sources and the validator network
So different tech stack levels

What is the payment mechanism? whether by using local currency or using bloxmove tokens for Nigeria?
The main and official mechanism will be Naira - after all we want to be able to reach the mainstream.
Internally this will be converted to ultimately consuming BLXM.
Direct payment in BLXM will be possible and incentivised. There's a lot of details here which need to be clarified re. regulations etc, however.

Is NFTticket tradable?
It will still be tradable - as a pure ERC721 NFT
The NFTicket parts are extensions, so they do not interfere with the tradability.
The whole design ensures that this is an NFTicket (with a Verified Credential as a digital off-chain twin) which is pure ERC721 and thus has full visuals traits and can be traded e.g. on OpenSea
