A helper extension has been released alongside the CSR or TalkBack screen reader that activates the direct tap writing feature, which is similar to what is available in iOS. One of the advantages of this extension is that it enables you to write in two ways, whether by swiping and lifting your finger or by direct tapping, at a huge speed.
Here is how to set it up:
After downloading and installing the extension, go to its settings. Set the second option to ON; this will disable gestures when the keyboard appears. After that, activate the extension from Accessibility, and it will work efficiently. You might see a "restricted settings" message. To fix this, go to the App info, then "more options," and select "Allow restricted settings." Then, activate it from Accessibility, and it will work..
