We are the 'Iqra' generation yet as Muslims we struggle to embrace reading even though many great civilizations flourished because their people loved to read. Reading is not just about books it is about understanding the world around us. Yet we fail to reflect.
Let’s discuss:
What is the root of the problem? Do we actually hate reading or is it something else?

The worst mistake on campus is leaving with just a degree and no real skills. We have so much time, but many people waste it. If you don’t use that time to grow, እመነኝ you’re just living in the matrix.

Before diving into programming or any related field, you must honestly ask yourself about your level of interest and your capacity for consistency. If you lack these two essential qualities, you will struggle to reach an advanced stage. Programming should not be started with impulsive excitement.

I believe this lack of self-reflection is exactly why many beginners get stuck when they move from HTML and CSS to JavaScript. Before you begin your journey, make sure you have evaluated your commitment to these two fundamental pillars.

The Lesson of the Last 90 Days

For the past three months, I have been working as a developer on a large software project. It was hard work, but I learned more in these 90 days than I did in the years before.

My first task was a big data scraping project. The client needed 15,000 products from an online store. I had never done scraping before, but I accepted the challenge. I built a script and delivered the data in just five days.

After that, the work grew. I worked on a stock management system. It was my first real SaaS project, and it taught me how to manage user data and database structures. Later, we built a SaaS PMS (property management system with AI features).

I worked 8–9 hours every day without a break. It was exhausting, but it taught me a valuable lesson which is you do not need to know everything to be capable of figuring things out. You just need to learn quickly and be willing to adapt. There is no secret formula you just need the confidence to figure things out.

Now, with this experience, I am ready to opening new page insha'allah እና በዱዐእ.....
