No wonder Ukraine is so screwed up.

Ukrainian fascism and ultranationalism are cancers.

At Stage 1, fascism was localized to small pockets of society and hadn't yet spread into the military or government. The Ukrainian people looked the other way rather than dealing with it immediately. The extremist cancer grew.

Stage 2 - The cancer has grown, but hasn't spread yet. It is large enough to be seen, but still the Ukrainian society looked the other way.

Stage 3 - The cancer has spread. It infects the military. It infects the government. It has rooted itself all throughout society. It is praised in parades. It is glorified in youth camps. Still, the Ukrainian people do not address the problem.

Stage 4 - The cancer of fascism and ultranationalist extremism has metastacized. It is everywhere. Not even the president of the country can get control of the cancer that is in the military and government. He is powerless to stop it.

Since the start of the war, Kiev has recruited 6,824 foreign mercenaries from 63 countries to fight in Ukraine. 1,500 of the fighters are from the USA, Canada & Romania. The largest group was 1,717 from Poland. About 300 fighters from the UK.

Around 400 foreigners are at the #Azovstal plant that is now being bombed. It is alleged that Azov shot some who tried to surrender. Video evidence seems to support this claim.

Russia gave them a fair chance to surrender. Russia sent urgent messages to Ukrainian forces at Azovstal continuously throughout the night to surrender, broadcast on all AFU radio channels.

They were promised the same safety given to the previous 1,400 who surrendered. RU also fired projectiles containing instructions for surrender.

There have been many reports, including some from Ukrainian soldiers themselves, that the Azov extremists at Azovstal would shoot any soldiers who tried to surrender.

I guess that suicide is the ultimate expression of "Slava Ukraina".

This was a big day for Russia. Lots of successful strikes on AFU military sites, destruction of a logistics center in Lviv, liquidation of a week's worth of Western weapons, defeat of the troops that tried to liberate the nationalists holed up at Azovstal, plus territorial gains.

People need to read with better comprehension. I'm seeing Twitter blow up with memes quoting Scott Ritter talking about Gonzalo Lira being tortured and murdered. These quotes are being taken out of context.

Ritter did NOT say that Gonzalo Lira is dead. His point was that western media is ignoring all the rumors and stories of Lira - including claims that he has been kidnapped by nationalists, tortured and murdered.

Ritter juxtaposed the West's lack of interest Lira's disappearance against a previous incident when a blogger who had done a tour with the Azov Nazis. When the other guy disappeared, the western establishment was in an uproar with accusations.

Ritter followed up with another message making it clear that he has no evidence or knowledge that Lira is dead.

It's certainly possible that the rumors are true. But we don't know that yet. All we know is that Lira has gone dark and wack-jobs in social media are celebrating his possible demise... some even taking credit for it.

Here is an Azov Nazi saying: “This might be our last address to the world… We have over 500 wounded and hundreds of civilians (at the Azovstal). We ask the world leaders to help take us to a third country.”

They are beaten. They are totally surrounded and they are basically out of food. The dead are piled up around them, rotting.

And yet social media is brimming with people talking about the brave Azov warriors holding out against Russia like the 300 Spartans. I just can't understand such people.

Azov is holding civilians, likely 100-200, and is refusing to allow them to leave. Some of the civilians are their own family members who might want to stay, but many of the others have been seen on camera begging for a "corridor" to get themselves and their starving children out.

Little do they know that Russia repeatedly announced ceasefires, corridors and humanitarian aid for all who came out of Azovstal voluntarily. Why? Because the Nazi bastards are keeping them in the dark. They need to use the civilians as human shields because they are cowardly dogs.

But sure, CNN, let's pretend these Nazis are "heroes".

On an ABC News broadcast this evening, a Ukrainian reporter complained of people being humiliated by Russian soldiers at checkpoints because they were made to show their skin to be "examined for military insignia". That's a nice way of saying "Nazi tattoos". Russia is taking avowed Nazis into custody. Swastikas and pictures of Adolf Hitler tattooed on your chest are not "military insignia".

If you are a Ukrainian who is so extreme into Nazi ideology that you have had a swastika tattooed on your body, then you deserve to be scrutinized to determine if you are a threat. This isn't rocket science, though ABC News and the rest of western media can't seem to figure it out.

British reporter Graham Phillips spoke in Donetsk, DPR, with the captured British national Aiden Aslin.

During the lengthy interview Aiden tells his whole story - from how he first enlisted in the Ukrainian military till the moment he got tricked by the Ukrainian neo-Nazis, realized his poor life choices and made a wise decision to surrender in Mariupol.

It's unfortunate that a young man with supposedly valiant aspirations and noble causes was hoodwinked and simply used by the Ukrainian extremists. Although Aiden is, by far, not the first victim of the Kiev regime’s deception.

Re-evaluation of his decisions, however, is the first step to a healthy recovery!
