My household here in NC just got hit with Covid. None of the 7 of us have had it since the start of the pandemic. But as soon as my daughter's college lifted the mask mandate, tons of students started spreading it. She brought it home this past week and was sick a few days, then my 17 year old son got it and was knocked out for 2 days, then my wife got it yesterday and is very sick, and my two twin girls (19 months old) have fevers and are sick with it. Only my 11 year old son and I haven't tested positive yet, but with 5 people in the same house already sick, I doubt that my son and I will be able to avoid getting it. If there was any good time for me to get Covid, the week I'm banned from Twitter is probably the best time! We'll see how it goes. ๐

Footage of a Russian Uran-6 being deployed in Donbass. It is a multi-functional mine-clearing robot used to clear areas, detect anti-tank mines (or other explosive ordinance) and remove them.

Air raid sirens have been going on and off in Lviv and all over western Ukraine for the last hour. The Ukrainian alert system has given the "all clear" in the last 20-30 minutes. I remember in the opening 24 hours of the war, every air siren throughout the country was going off. It's unusual that so many would now be sounding the west where Russia isn't carrying out operations. Makes me wonder if Ukraine isn't just conditioning its citizens to keep them in a state of fear even if there is no imminent danger.

Looks like air raids were sounding all over the country, not just in the west...

Some of this footage of a Russian naval infantry BTR-82A in Mariupol looks like a POV war video game. The BTR-82A is an 8ร8 wheeled fully amphibious armored personnel carrier (APC). It requires a 3 man crew but can carry up to 7.

A group of Ukrainian soldiers stand around unconcerned about an approaching Russian T-72B3 tank. They must have thought it had been captured by friendlies. They were wrong. The tank blasted them at point-blank range.

When you watch this footage of thousands of Ukrainian citizens giving the Nazi salute over and over again, I want you to remember one thing: There are no Nazis in Ukraine. Pass it on. ๐

Employees of the National Guard of Ukraine who surrendered told how the leadership ordered the execution of civilians in Rubizhne:
โAt some point, people were brought there, there were both women and men ... The people who were brought were with white bandages, they were residents of Rubizhne. They put everyone in front of us, we were ordered to shoot them all.

Russian commandos have killed a prominent member of Ukraineโs nationalist Right Sector group, the Russian defense ministry claimed on Monday. Taras Bobanich was accused by Moscow of causing hundreds of civilian deaths in eastern Ukraine during hostilities in 2014.
A Russian recon team killed Bobanich while on patrol about 5km south from the city of Izium in Ukraineโs Kharkov region, the ministry statement said. It said he was a deputy commander of the Right Sector responsible for reserve operations.
The ministry didnโt disclose the circumstances of Bobanichโs death. The Right Sectorโs social media reported that he was killed on Friday near Izium, calling him a โlegendary nationalistโ.
