CAREER TIP:

LinkedIn will be full of "Bitcoin whitepaper posts" today. (I also just posted about it here https://t.ly/-SkzF)

Use this as an opportunity to like, comment and share. Simply search for the keyword "Bitcoin", then filter on "posts" and sort by "latest".

This is a) how you become more visible to a larger network and b) this is how you fill your "Activity Feed" with Bitcoin related content.

Your Activity feed is one of the first things visitors (like recruiters...) see when they view your profile. So even if you have zero work experience in Bitcoin so far, your Activity feed is an indicator of how involved you are in the Bitcoin space.

This is one of the most lazy and efficient ways to optimize your profile to be found by the right people πŸ™‚ Do not ignore LinkedIn!

Happy Whitepaper Day! πŸŽ‰

πŸ”ˆ Hey everyone - this message is only for those of you ACTIVELY looking for a job in Bitcoin.

I’ve noticed that many people COMPLETELY underutilise LinkedIn for their jobsearch. So I decided to offer a few reviews of LinkedIn profiles free of charge (or in a value4value way if you like :))

There are active ways and passive ways to your Bitcoin job search:

β€’ Browsing job boards and applying for jobs by sending out a cv is an active way.
β€’ Having a good LinkedIn profile is a passive way to be found by recruiters. (Yes, there are Bitcoin specific recruiters, and they use LinkedIn too :))

πŸ’‘ Wouldn’t it be great to be found, contacted and offered jobs, rather than you having to look for them?

If you’re not using LinkedIn to β€œsell you” while you sleep, you are missing out.

πŸ‘‰ So if you’re serious about finding a job in Bitcoin and you’d like me to review your LinkedIn profile, you can submit it here, by answering some questions in this form: https://t.ly/pljsY

Yes, it’s a list of questions, but I won’t be able to give you quality answers without context πŸ™‚

πŸ”Ÿ I will limit it to 10 reviews for the time being and close the form once I have received 10 submissions.

πŸ’‘ CV/Resume Do's and Don'ts

I just came across this post by a recruiter on LinkedIn and while it is not Bitcoin related, I think 99% of these tips still apply.

If you have sent out tons of cv's without success, use these tips to review and refine how your resume communicates your experience and value.
