PhD Dissertation Public Defense Held at BiT–BDU

Mr. Aragaw Tadie Alamnia has successfully defended his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) dissertation in Mechanical Engineering with specialization of Thermal Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Bahir Dar Institute of Technology (BiT), Bahir Dar University.
His dissertation, titled " Design and Multi-Objective Optimization of Advanced Cyclone Separators for Solid–Solid Separation," presents an innovative contribution to the development of Advanced Cyclone Separators for Solid–Solid Separation. The main objective of this dissertation is to design, analyze, and optimize advanced cyclone separators for efficient solid-solid separation.
The dissertation defense was evaluated by The External Examiner Prof. Dr. S. K. Tyagi, Professor at Centre for Energy Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India, Dr. Solomon Tesfamariam, Associate Professor at Addis Ababa University and Dr. Addisu Bekele, Associate Professor at Adama Science and Technology University
The main advisor Prof. Bimrew Tamrat, Professor at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University, co-advisor Dr. Muluken Zegeye, Associate Professor at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University.
The Student Dissertation Advisory Committee (SDAC) members included Dr. Muluken Temesgen, Assistant Professor at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University.
During the public defense, Mr. Aragaw Tadie responded confidently and comprehensively to the questions and comments raised by the examination committee, demonstrating a strong command of his research area and highlighting the scientific and practical significance of his findings.

የባሕር ዳር ቴክኖሎጅ ኢንስቲትዩት ቤተ-መጽሐፍት ሰራተኞች የአብሮነትና መተሳሰብ (Get-together) መርሃ ግብር አካሄዱ

የሰራተኞች የትውውቅና የአብሮነት መርሀ ግብር የኢትዮጵያና ራሻ የዲፕሎማሲ ጅማሮ ከሚገለጥባቸው ሁነቶች አንዱ በሆነው ታሪካዊው የጃን ሞስኮቭ ላይበራሪ ተካሂዷል፡፡
መርሃ-ግብሩ በየአመቱ የሚካሂድ ሲሆን ይህ በአመት አንድ ጊዜ የሚካሄደው መርሃ ግብር ትልቅ ትርጉምና ፋይዳ ያለው፤ በሰራተኞች መካከል ያለውን የእርስ በእርስ የመደጋገፍና መረዳዳት ባሕል የሚያሳድግ እንዲሁም በመካከላቸው ያለውን የአብሮነትና መተሳሰብ መንፈስ የሚያጎለብት መርሃ ግብር መሆኑ ተገልዷል፡፡
ይህ አመታዊ መርሃግብር ወደ ተቋሙ የሚቀላቀሉ አዳዲስ ሰራተኞች እንዲሁም ከሌላ ግቢ ወደ ባሕር ዳር ቴክኖሎጅ ኢንስቲትዩት (ፖሊ) ግቢ የተዛወሩ ሰራተኞች ተሰባስበው እርስ በእርስ የሚተዋወቁበትና የሚወያዩበት መርሃ ግብር ነው፡፡
የሰራተኞች የትውውቅና የውይይት መርሃ ግብሮች ዘርፈብዙ ጠቀሜታ ያላቸው ሲሆን ስራቸውን እንዲወዱትና ወደ መስሪያቤታቸው መሄድ እንዲናፍቃቸው ያደርጋል ተብሏል፡፡
በመርሃ ግብሩ ላይ የአስተዳደር ጉዳዮች ም/ሳይንቲፊክ ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር በላይ ተፈራ፤የአካዳሚክ ጉዳዮች ም/ሳይንቲፊክ ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር አማረ ካሰው፤ የቤተ-መጽሀፍት ዳይሬክተር አቶ ሰርጸ አበበ እንዲሁም የቀድሞ ቤተ-መጽሀፍት ሰራተኞች የነበሩ በመርሃ ግብሩ ላይ ተገኝተዋል፡፡
የስራ ኃላፊዎችም እንዲህ አይነት መርሃ ግብሮች በሰራተኞች መካከል መተሳሰብና መደጋገፍ እንደሚፈጥሩ የታመነ መሆኑን ገልጸው ለአዘጋጆችና ለቤተ መጽሀፍት ሰራተኞች በሙሉ ምስጋና አቅርበዋል፡፡
