Mr. Aragaw Tadie Alamnia has successfully defended his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) dissertation in Mechanical Engineering with specialization of Thermal Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Bahir Dar Institute of Technology (BiT), Bahir Dar University.
His dissertation, titled " Design and Multi-Objective Optimization of Advanced Cyclone Separators for Solid–Solid Separation," presents an innovative contribution to the development of Advanced Cyclone Separators for Solid–Solid Separation. The main objective of this dissertation is to design, analyze, and optimize advanced cyclone separators for efficient solid-solid separation.
The dissertation defense was evaluated by The External Examiner Prof. Dr. S. K. Tyagi, Professor at Centre for Energy Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India, Dr. Solomon Tesfamariam, Associate Professor at Addis Ababa University and Dr. Addisu Bekele, Associate Professor at Adama Science and Technology University
The main advisor Prof. Bimrew Tamrat, Professor at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University, co-advisor Dr. Muluken Zegeye, Associate Professor at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University.
