Dr. Birhanu Bulcha Explores Key Facilities at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology

Following his inspiring public lecture on “Impacts of Hands-on STEEM Education and Innovation on Youth Empowerment and National Development,” Dr. Birhanu Bulcha and his delegation toured several flagship facilities at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology.
The visit included the workshops, where students and faculty showcased practical innovations; the Jan Moskov Library, a hub of academic resources; the Bahir Dar Energy Center, dedicated to sustainable energy research; and the Business Incubation and Techno-Entrepreneurship Center (BiTeC), which supports startups and fosters entrepreneurial talent.
Institute leaders highlighted that these facilities represent the backbone of Bahir Dar’s mission to integrate education, research, and innovation.
