Loans are Fannie Mae-guaranteed conforming mortgages, meeting standard underwriting and offering full consumer protections.

The goal: help buyers who can’t access cash due to wealth locked in non-liquid assets. Better says 41% of U.S. families can’t buy homes despite sufficient net worth.

With rising home prices and rates, affordability is strained. A $400K home needs $40K down—hard without selling assets and facing tax hurdles.

Coinbase calls this “a step toward mainstream crypto adoption in housing finance” and “as American as apple pie.”
