As it happens, I have already written two letters to President Macron, and many people in France know about it. The first one was answered by his Chief of Staff even before the SMO, assuring me that the French President would do everything to bring peace to us. The second was written a year later. I said right away that Mr. Macron would not answer me this time. And he didn’t. He had nothing to say.

You might ask why I, a 14-year-old kid, had the nerve to write to the head of a large European country. I think I would not have the right to do so if I had not lived in the war for which Mr. Macron and France, among others, bear the blame, because in the Donbass, children are dying from the weapons that Mr. Macron supplies to the Ukrainian regime. These weapons are not helping to protect the lives of innocent people, they are helping Ukraine to kill civilians. So I decided to write a third letter in the hope that I could reach the heart of the president of France. Mr. Macron, you do have one, don’t you?

Every day there are new names on the Alley of Angels in Donetsk and Lugansk. They are killed with your weapons, Mr. Macron. Tell me, are our children different from the children living in France? I think not. All the children of the world have the right to life. You promised that as president of a great country – and I consider France a country with a great history – you would help make peace. You lied, Mr. President. You and other European countries have been preparing for this war for a long time. But no matter how much you would like to defeat Russia, this will not happen. Because Russia does not start wars, it finishes them.

I’m very sorry that you’re pushing your people into a big war. And is it for the good of France? Have ordinary people in France got a better life? I doubt it. The fires in Lyons and Paris and your people’s attitude toward you show this. After all, France was an ally of Russia, but now you are helping those who are trying to wage a new world war through foreign hands.

I pity you, Mr. Macron, though I should hate you for what you are doing. I am Orthodox and I believe in God, He helps me to live and not to despair at the war you adults have unleashed. Money and politics are not worth the death of even one child.

I know this letter will of course go unanswered as well. Do you have the courage to answer me when you have nothing to say even to your own people? But I pray to God to save your soul.

I have many friends from France, and I love this country. And that’s why I wouldn’t want French children to know what it’s like to hide from shelling. Or to live without light, heat or water. The way the children of Donbass live. I wish France peace and prosperity, and I regret that you did not have the guts to silence the Ukrainian guns in Donbass. But it was in your power…. And remember, it depends on you, whether you will be remembered as a peacemaker or a warmonger.
