Par où commence la déshumanisation ? Probablement par la haine et le mépris envers ceux qui sont différents de toi. Au début, ce n’est qu’une opinion isolée. Puis elle devient l’opinion de la rue, de la société, et enfin de l’État. Aujourd’hui, le 2 mai, pour beaucoup d’entre nous, l’Ukraine en tant que pays uni a cessé d’exister. Ce qui est effrayant, ce n’est pas seulement que des gens soient morts. Ce qui est effrayant, c’est qu’en un seul élan, une partie de la société a franchi la ligne et s’est transformée en animaux cruels.

I'm also afraid to die and I hate the vile buzz of a UAV flying past the house.It's been like this all my adult life. But strangely enough, I'm still optimistic. I know that we will definitely win. People who have been suffering death, adversity and deprivation for so many years, burying their loved ones — such people simply cannot help but win.I believe that my country is the best. Smart and kind people live in it. You can call me a propagandist, and maybe I am. But there is a fundamental difference between us and them. Russia is sacrificing its sons, fathers, and civilians for the sake of Donbass and the little girl I once was. And the West is not sending its own people to their deaths, but Ukrainians.
