Faina Savenkova: God will accept the souls of those who died

If I had been in Moscow, I would probably have been at the “Picnic” concert with
my family. And now, seeing the news reports, it is so scary to realize that unlike
the terrorists, the victims had almost no chance to fight back, nor did not everyone
have an opportunity to escape. It is what it is... Unfortunately, I know what death
is, as well as the fact that human life is worthless. You can go to a concert and not
come back. You can make plans for tomorrow, but a shell will come, like in
Belgorod.

What did the terrorists want? To frighten people in Russia? Their masters probably
thought that Russians would hide and be afraid, but this is the main mistake of
those who are behind these subhumans: people in Russia have changed. In the
Special Military Operation zone and in ordinary peaceful life, they do not behave
the way Russia's enemies would like them to. They help fighters at the front and
express real feelings, grieving with families of soldiers killed at the front and
victims of terrorists who were unjustly killed. After the massacre at the concert
venue in the Crocus City Hall, they supported the wounded, donated blood, and did
not fear. Russia has changed.

As usual, the world perceived this crime in various ways: in most cases, everyone
agreed with the idea that terrorism must be eradicated. The United States, Britain
and the Baltic States looked ridiculous and disgusting. Suddenly this crime was
condemned by French President Macron, probably remembering the tragedy of
"Charlie Hebdo." Or his conscience woke up. Ukraine, as always, rejoiced in other
people's deaths: the talking heads from Kiev smiled, gave likes and rejoiced
openly. It reminded me of Odessa, the House of Trade Unions, they had the same
reaction then.

All those who organized this terrorist attack will definitely be punished. I'm sure of
it. Well, what about Ukraine? As a child of Donbass, I would like it very much if,
after our victory, all these Budanovs, Yarmoks and all those who unleashed this
war were put in a cage and taken around Donetsk, Lugansk, Mariupol, Belgorod,
Kursk and Moscow. Let people look at them. And then let them be punished for
everything they have done, according to the law. Because as one movie hero said,
"We do not live in a gang, we live in a state." We will judge them.

These three days are very challenging. A lot of work and studying. I have to make decisions that are not always pleasant for me, but I have to make them. Yesterday I did an interview with French lawyer and political scientist Arnaud Develay. We talked to Arnaud about the Russian presidential election (he was an observer), about terrorism and who is behind it, and about France and President Macron. Where could I go without him? Coming soon on my youtube channel in the program "In Search of Truth".
Italians in Russia 😀
Finally interviewed my Italian journalist friends Andrea Lucidi and Vincenzo Lorusso😀

Did an interview with American lawyer and political scientist Dan Kowalik Thank you Dan Soon on Search for Truth on my YouTube channel
Excerpt from Faina Savenkova’s book: The Angel Who Saved Me.
The habits we acquire.

The habits we acquire.

What takes the longest to get used to in war? Uh-oh, this causes for the longest and
most heated arguments and discussions! Is it the shelling? The fear? The calm that
follows despair? Death? Your life being changed forever? Most of all, the thing
that takes the longest to get used to is your own memories… There, in your
memories, is a sun-drenched meadow of bright yellow dandelions — a patch of
fleeting happiness. And in the next moment — a horrible nightmare come to life,
completely unwilling to recognize that it is a bad dream. What a nightmare! With
all its might it keeps reminding you that it is the new reality. And how do you
accept it?

For some reason people think that memories of war are always emotional, whether
they are tragedies or moments of joy: tears flowing, your soul inside out — the
beauty and fantasy of any dramatic actor. But I don’t know how to talk about it. All
that intensity in my voice seems to be a bit contrived. So it turns out that you
calmly talk about what you want to hide forever in the farthest corners of your
mind so that it never sees the light of day, as if it had never happened. It’s just a
crazy dream I had once. Or maybe it’s simpler: I’m afraid to cry. I’m afraid to cry. I
don’t even know why… No one will blame me, they’ll only sympathize. Although…
Maybe tears become the most important evidence of everything that happened —
indeed, because a silly nightmare won’t make you cry.

One of the bombings which took place on an ordinary summer day in 2014 was
such a nightmare for me. It’s silly, but I don’t even know where it all started, what
time it was and other details. As if those things don’t matter: a deep fog with no
beginning and no ending, so why even bother with the details? What’s doubly
ironic is that I was asleep. For real. My mom tucked me in to rest and lay next to
me so I wouldn’t be scared by the rumbling and shooting. My brother was helping
Grandma pick apples in the orchard at the time. Now, for some reason, I smile at
these thoughts, but back then… It was one of the first serious bombardments of
Lugansk. I woke up to the rattling of the window pane in the nursery. Or more
accurately, when mom grabbed me and in a split second we were on the floor,
away from the window. Mom held me tighter and tighter, and I couldn’t even see
anything at that moment. I was just curled up on the wooden floor in her arms.
That was probably the end of it. Hardly anything… But can we talk about what was
going on in my soul? Later, mother told me that the shelling was over, and she was
afraid to leave the house to see what was wrong with Matvey. And there was such
relief when, seconds later, he burst into the house, dead pale. Seconds that were
almost an eternity. And fear… Fear, gripping him with an icy, monstrous grip,
robbing him of all other senses, taking away the pounding that had been measured
before. Bang, bang, bang, bang… How many of them were there before the
frightened “Mommy” could be heard? And the realization that she simply wouldn’t
have had time to get to my brother, no matter how fast she ran. But she could cover
me if the poor old window pane shattered into a hundred pieces. Who knew then
that putting a bed against a window wasn’t a good idea, even if they were on
opposite sides of the room? We know now…

I can’t imagine how my brother felt at the time. He admitted that he had some
irrational fear of death. And five minutes later we were laughing, because the
adults were making us laugh and entertaining us with something. Something
obviously stupid, but I don’t remember what it was.
And if someone asks me about my memories of those days, there doesn’t seem to
be much to say: everything is all right, just a few broken windows and some
chunks of plaster — it’s nothing! But here’s the problem — you can’t forget it, no
matter how much you want to. That’s how it turns out that you will talk about it
with a smile, a fair amount of sarcasm, and your hands will shake slightly,
unnoticeable to any casual listener. Like always, however…
