📌 postdoc position available in Peijun Zhang's group at eBIC, UK

Castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) is currently incurable and is the second leading cause of cancer death in American men. Androgen-independent activation of the androgen receptor (AR) remains the major driving force leading to CRPC. Structural and functional analysis of a novel class of AR antagonists capable of inducing AR degradation in the nucleus may lead to new therapeutics for CRPC.
You should have a PhD degree in structural biology or equivalent and have a demonstrated record of accomplishment in conducting high quality original research. Knowledge and research experience in structural biology, including protein biochemistry and single particle cryoEM, are essential.

Applicants are required to outline their suitability for this role via the online application process and should include a CV, summary of their accomplishment and research interests, and publication list.
The initial closing date for applications is 12th November 2023, however applications will be reviewed and interviewed on an ongoing basis until this vacancy is filled.
For further information about this role please contact Peijun Zhang (peijun.zhang@diamond.ac.uk).
