I just confirmed with multiple active government sources that they also got the alert from the DoD alert system, via Alexandria Phone number, 703 454 0563, calling and warning for everyone to get a flashlight, and to expect potential power outages from a solar flare.
I am not making this shit up. DoD alert system is warning all employees about the event.
Only thing I can’t figure out, is why the hell I got the call, because I do not work for the Department of Defense.

Turns out, my call was from US Army Alert Notification system. The same message was also sent to DCSA, via Pentagon Force Protection.
I am not trying to scare anyone, or spread doom about the coming solar storm, I am just trying to figure out what is going on.
I don’t know anything about solar flares. I’m not predicting anything. I’m just telling you all what the DoD sent out.

They just confirmed that at 1400 EST, they did indeed send out a message on a regional basis, regarding the “geomagnetic storm”, which went to select DoD employees AND CIVILIANS in the target area of effect, or who are near military bases.
If you think I am lying, you can call the Help Desk yourself 1(866)515-0551.
Call and ask the representative if they sent out a message about the “geomagnetic storm”, at 1400 EST and the representative can confirm it for you.
If you call the (703)454-0563 number that called me, it will direct you to call the help desk, at the (866) number provided above.
I asked the rep if there was any literature for this alert that she could provide for me, and she said no, but that it was not fake, and that the alert was sent out.
