When you see a sister starting to wear a longer shawl, dress more loosely, or take steps towards niqab, please be gentle with your words.

And if you see a sister dressed this way make a mistake, please don’t say “See? She dresses like that but look what she did.”

Her clothing is not the reason she made a mistake. Modesty is an act of worship, but it does not make someone perfect or free from sin. She is still human. She can make mistakes, fall short, and struggle just like all of us.

Likewise, someone’s past should not be used to invalidate the steps she is taking towards Allah. We don’t know the journey behind someone’s hijrah. We don’t know the struggles,the private battles, or the du‘as made when nobody else was watching.

So when you see someone trying to become better, encourage her. When she makes a mistake, advise her with kindness. And when you see her trying again, let her.

Don’t make her feel that she has to be perfect before she is allowed to come closer to Allah.

Kedatangannya sudah pasti
Kan menerangi alam ini
Wajiblah kita mensyukuri
Atas nikmat dari Ilahi

Allah patahkan hati kamu untuk selamatkan iman kamu dan masa depan kamu. Kadang-kadang kita tidak faham mengapa kita diuji, tetapi kemudian kita akan sedar bahawa itulah cara Allah untuk melindungi kamu selama ini.

“bersabarlah sebagaimana Rasulullah ‎ﷺ bersabar.” — ustaz sofyan yadi

apabila berurusan dengan manusia, kita tidak boleh mengharapkan kesempurnaan. sabar itu manis.. dan ada sebab Rasulullah ﷺ bersabda:

فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّى تَلْقَوْنِي عَلَى الْحَوْضِ

“maka bersabarlah sehingga kalian bertemu denganku di al-Haudh.”

kita nak bertemu Rasulullah ﷺ di al-Haudh… kita nak minum daripada tangan Habibul Mustafa sendiri… tetapi seseorang yang tidak tahu erti kesabaran tidak layak memandang wajah Rasulullah sekalipun :((

ya Rabb, letakkanlah sabar dalam hati kami. jadikanlah kita orang yang mampu menahan amarah, memaafkan dengan hati yang lapang, dan sentiasa berhusnuzon terhadap manusia 😢😭

“how do we meet Rasulullah? by cleaning your heart.

how do we clean our heart?
by sending selawat upon Rasulullah ‎ﷺ.

sending selawat upon Rasulullah ‎ﷺ requires no ijazah.

if you really want to see Rasulullah, your eyes will never want to see anyone else but him ‎ﷺ. you will yearn for him ‎ﷺ alone. you will dedicate your entire life to Rasulullah alone.” — ustaz mukhtar

ya Rasulullah ﷺ, how can i claim to love you when my heart is still so distracted by everything else? how can i yearn to meet you when my eyes are still captivated by this dunya?

ya rabb, purify me until the greatest and only longing in my heart is to meet Your beloved ﷺ.
