Last Friday, our team had the incredible opportunity to partner with Dignity Kitchen in a programme that reminded us what community truly means. From whipping up rojak and baking cookies, to learning basic sign language and sharing songs with the elderly over karaoke – every moment was filled with joy, learning, and connection.

It was more than just a team activity – it was a chance to give back, to learn from those around us, and to be reminded of the simple joys that unite us all.

Thank you, Dignity Kitchen, for the meaningful experience and for the amazing work you do in empowering lives through dignity and purpose.

🌿 At Tiny Away Escape @ Lazarus Island, we pause and reflect in reverence this Good Friday — finding peace in the stillness.

🤔 To answer another common question asked by many of our tiny house owners: in this world of uncertainty, what would happen to the owners and the tiny house purchased IF Big Tiny face insolvency?

Ans: The tiny house still belongs to you even if Big Tiny declares bankrupt. Your tiny house will still be sitting on the land belonging to our land partners. You can either:

1) Work something out with the land partner to continue and engage another company to manage your house for you.

OR

2) Resell your house to the resale market since there are demand for it. There are interested individual looking to buy our tiny house for their own use, whether it be for operating a business or just having it in their backyard.

*Disclaimer: you need not make such a decision actually, because Big Tiny is nowhere near to facing insolvency. 😜

🤮 Ever imagine if you are a property owner and one day you realised this is the condition of the property caused by your tenant when you decided to go back and have a look? You would then have to deal with this situation yourself.

However, if you are a tiny house owner, Big Tiny will be in charge of all the maintenance work for your tiny house.

Can you imagine the only time you would need to lift a finger is to login to your ibanking app to see your rental income coming in?

Each assessment strengthens our commitment to creating escapes that not only connect guests with nature, but also operate with purpose, responsibility, and care for the communities we’re part of.
