The Greens Budget In a nutshell….
Free childcare, (as I predicted) free doctor visitors, free basic dental care, at least $395 a week for anyone out of work or studying - single parents get another $140 per week.

Would introduce a wealth tax, a private jet tax, ending interest deductibility for landlords, restoring the 10 year 'bright-line' test, doubling minerals royalties, changes to ACC levies.

And of course the “Green” ministry of works at cost of around 8 billion dollars.

Farming would also be included in the emissions trading scheme (ETS) this year and remove forestry from the ETS.

All these policies would be funded by taxing New Zealand's wealthiest people more.
