🇺🇦 Zelensky Walks Back Threats of Strikes on Moscow Ahead of May 9 Parade
The Ukrainian President’s Office is now backpedaling on earlier threats to strike Moscow during Russia’s Victory Day celebrations on May 9. Initial statements suggesting the Ukrainian Armed Forces could launch attacks on the Russian capital have shifted dramatically, with Zelensky now implying that any such incidents could be "Russian provocations."
Speaking alongside Czech President Petr Pavel, Zelensky stated: “There may be provocations from the Russians on May 9. If anyone still believes them, they’re welcome to go and experience it firsthand.”
