Most of us would have heard the story of Eklavya!!
And the time when Dronacharya infamously asks for Eklavya's right thumb so that he cannot continue archery.
Even arguably, the greatest archery Guru of all time, could not in his wildest dreams forsee that archery could one day be done...let alone without a thumb, but without both arms!!!
Generally, we have all grown up reading mythological stories where the characters have all kinds of superpowers....and even there with the best of superpowers, archery couldnt be done without the right thumb!!
That probably puts into perspective the magnamity of what Sheetal Devi is doing...I will not end this with the motivational gyan that "If one decides..one can do anything" ..maybe one can....maybe for most of the things...but not for this!!
We are all rooting for your much deserved
Top Podium finish...But, irrespective of that happening or not, you have inspired and entire generation across the world...it's not just for the record books but maybe you deserve to be that mystical figure in our scriptures, that our later generations think is pure mythology!!
Even Eklavya, Arjuna & Dronacharya would be give a standing ovation to you!!!
For the rest of us mortals, let's enjoy the legend unfolding in front of our eyes!!!
